Hi People,

My hard drop feels like lagging on nullpo line race. any advices? sometimes it needs to be pushed twice to react

glitch

any additional details? what numbers in down/left corner are saying when you are playing? do other tetris games work fine?

fps are at its max. i'm using standard-plus game rule. DAS at 5. it seems to be lagging sometimes in all of the games. it's like that hard drop doesn't work every time.

So you're saying it feels as though there are dropped inputs when you press hard drop and you say that your game is running at a consistent 60 fps?

What button are you using for hard drop?

Can you move your pieces left and right with no lost inputs?

Try holding down left and hard drop a piece. If the piece doesn't go down, you might have diagonal move turned off. Maybe check in the game tuning option to see if "Diagonal Move" has an "O".

Also, don't know if this will help, but you could try turning off "Show Background" and "Show Line Effect" (by making them X) in the general options.

Sorry, for slow reply. Well, Diagonal move is turned on, and i don't loose any inputs when moving left or right. My fps usually stay at about 33fps when i play line race. My hard drop is set as up arrow. Removing background still gives no effect, though lost hard drop inputs now are more rare.

That is really bad by the way, you should be at 60

Try running this program:

This program can run smoothly at 20fps.

Instructions:
Restart = ALT+R.

Before starting, feel free to edit "options.ini"
Set "DAS" to 150.
Set controls using this:

QuoteLike many setups here, it is useful if your opponent doesn't move and you get 4 Ts in a row.

TF = half the speed of nullpo

On a side note nullpo should really count game time seperately to frames rendered..
If you simply set the MAX_FRAMES to non-60 it screws up game timer significantly.

Well, my old record 56.34 was on TF.
Nullpo time is slower, but it's still 28.53
