Hello everyone -

I've been lurking around the forums and wiki for the past few months, and I figured it was about time that I actually said hello.

I started playing Tetris back on the NES twenty some years ago, got horribly addicted, and decided I should probably give it a rest if I wanted to graduate high school ... That was around fifteen years ago. Last year the wife gave me a DSi with Tetris Party Deluxe and of course, the addiction quickly returned ... Except now there are all these crazy modes, combos, spins and multiplayer.

Anyway, since I'm starting over from scratch, I figure I might as well do it right. I'm practicing efficient stacking, and I made a slew of finesse flashcards.

I'm still really slow: my best time is right at 2:00 in Sprint. I've haven't ventured into multiplayer, and the thought of playing on a keyboard gives me the willies ... One of these days I'm just going to bite the bullet and get over it - seems like Tetris Friends and Nullpomino is where everyone is at.

Hope that didn't sound to Get-off-my-lawnish.

Welcome to the site! :D

finesse flashcards? that's some impressive dedication

i prefer keyboard myself, but NullpoMino definitely supports gamepad controls. I can't say the same for TF; you could set something up with xpadder or joytokey though.

welcome, dude
