The "RATE MY TETRIS GAME" thread

Today, I made new highscore at Tetrisfriends sprint 40.
For 1 week ago I made about 1 min and 40 secounds in avg, now I do about 1 min and 20 sec in avg.
Someone who may give me some tips?
What I try to do is to place the piece at the first place I see that's possible.
Then I discovered today that I shall hold in the move button (right or left arrow) if the piece gonna be near a wall, for saving time (cus I feel it's really slow to move these pieces).

So, anyone who can tell me how I possible can make it faster?

I would not do combos on TF because of massive line clear delay. It's best to only use tetrises on TF.

Yeah, use tetrises as cool said, also faster DAS would do you good.

I don't get anything about that "Line clear delay", does it make sense? :S how?
Anyway, I just tried make only tetrises, but it's hard and even if i got like 6 tetrises it took longer time anyway.

Keep going, you'll get the hang of it ^^

Line clear delay is just what it says - the delay in time which occurs everytime you clear a line or lines. 10 tetrises = 10 line clear delays is way better than i.e 40 singles = 40 line clear delays.

It will save you important seconds.

Okay! I just tried some, made 8 tetrises now. I could make more.. On the place where I put the blue piece, I'd the line piece after I could put instead, didn't think enough there. Anyway new record again ^^

Well done sozu. Remember; when you have like 5 lines left to clear, just focus on clearing them as quickly as possible, meaning you don't necessarily need to clear those lines with tetrises, just get rid of them and leave the stack as low as possible in the end.

Other than that, you need, like I said before - faster DAS!
