I think it'd be a little easier for the general population to "reclaim" the letters SS alone than it would be to "reclaim" the swastika or the double sig runes. I mean, everyone calls Secret Salamander "SS" and I don't think anyone has made this connection before now.

I like the S16 tag better though.

Yeah, I made the connection very early, I just never decided to make a big deal about it because I thought I was the only one bothered by it.

I also made the connection but didn't make a fuss. The key difference here is that the SS were, to all intents and purposes, a group dedicated to terrorising the minority populations in Nazi Germany, especially the Jews. So these letters have more resonance when applied to a group, and this is why I take offence to having a group with members who have the SS_ tag.

Yeah, it doesn't help that this group is the Sadistic Sixteen. S16 is a little more acceptable.

After reading through all the comments, I will change the tag to S16.
I was unaware of the group (that may have been associated with the SS tag) that Aaron pointed out to me. If anyone interpreted the tag offensively, I do apologize.

I have noticed a new interest in the team, so I shall look over those people who are interested and see if they fulfill the requirements.

Hey everyone, so our first match (to just start things off with teams) is a match against kO, which has 3 or 4 members and we will be playing them this Sunday at 4PM CENTRAL Time. It will be played on TF, due to the ease of access to the game. If you are available at the time then log on (in case some of the scheduled players don't make it. This will be a 3v3 match and in the future we need to think of a method for team matches that will incorporate more team members.

Only easy way I'd imagine you could incorporate more members would be to do a series of 1v1 or 2v2 matches and then tally up the number of wins. I'd imagine that a 5v5 team game would be a little bit too insane to be workable, though in some ways I could actually see it working better than 3v3 (which is a little bit too biased against the first team to lose a player IMO).

I think we talked about this before with the CF vs SF match that never really happened. But I think it could be a fun variant if you have a line up of 1v1s and then have a hitpoints system. If for example if the first results is 10-6 the winner stays on to face the 2nd player but only has 4 points left...

That sounds pretty cool too. So basically each team has, say 50 points, but you change every 10 conceded points until all five players are used up, or whatever.

You change only the losing player - it's the same as crossfire, except the lost points for the winner stay with him next round

Huh, I never thought of that Rosti, I think that's a system we'll consider using for the match then. 1v1 and with the points system. I'll talk it over with kO and see if they'll agree to it.
