yes but we prefer not to say how, as this will lead to people knowing how to hax0r the gamezor so they wont lose ever.. try and figure it out urself.

Do I have to check the "Skip updater" box? I'm afraid of updater over-writing the English patch

Updates may revert some parts of English patch, especially those in plain text files. But i don't think disabling updates will help, because probably they only allow latest version to connect anyway.

I haven't seen single update from time i started to mess with TOJ resource archives so i don't really know. But seems updates are really rare nowadays so no need to worry yet. When problems will emerge we will work on solution.

suggested changes for the jpn.txt file:

MSG_VSMODE_RESULT = "%d Games %d Wins (%d%%)"

MSG_STAT_STREAK = "%d Wins (Streak: %d Wins)"
MSG_STAT_VALUE = "%d Games %d Wins (%d%%)"
(not sure if the above 2 are used)

there's another line but i can't find in the file. it's for the number of KOs line in the user information.

current one looks like this: ####(##%)
adding a space between the first number and the opening bracket will make it more consistent with the rest of the numbers on that page

Oh, this one is in tetris.exe file and so far there were no need to touch this file. I will leave it as it is unless there are more reasons to change this file.
