What are your preferred DAS and ARR settings?  I've never played a Tetris game before that allowed me to modify that DAS/ARR (not that I know of at least).  Aftering playing for two months on 2 DAS and 1 ARR, I forked over the rubies for max upgrades, yet 5 ARR seems very quick to what I'm used to.  I'm just wondering what a good speed would be.  I've learned that faster isn't always better, as there are some ridiculous look sensitivities like 10 on Halo that would just be terrible for certain situations.  Well, this is Tetris, and I've been tapping my keys on ARR to lessen the frequency of my misdrops.  About how long will it take for me to get used to 5 ARR?

You'd probably get used to 5 arr in a few days or something. You should never get anything other than 5 arr.
Also, you should refrain from tapping too much. This is the perfect time to learn some finesse.

ARR 5
DAS 3

this is what i use and i think is best setup for most of the players. DAS 4 and DAS 5 is probably only useful if you are Blink, Maserati and Salamander.

Hmm...I heard people don't use 5 DAS because of lag reasons.  I think the ARR is messing me up more than the DAS though, but I probably can't say much because I'm new to both.  Thanks.  I'll stick with it until I get used to it then.

das 4 lags for me, otherwise i would use 4 or even 5.

QuoteLike many setups here, it is useful if your opponent doesn't move and you get 4 Ts in a row.

I started with das 3 arr 5 and now moved from 4 to 5 a few weeks ago,
it does make you more vulnerable to lag, but i think they are all playable once you adjust...
i think some people get low 40 sprint times on tf with das 2 arr 5 (or even without das), so don't feel you need to max it out asap, but i also would definitely recommend using arr 5

also hi! hope i didn't beat you out of some rubies in the challenge

4 das,   5 arr

i'll switch it to 5 das eventually, i could probably handle it right now

Morpheus: What are you waiting for? You're faster than this. Don't think you are, know you are. Come on!

5/5 and even that's too slow :S

4 DAS, would get 5 ARR if I had rubies! (Yes I'm gonna ask someone to do a survey for me when I can find my damn password  )

Huh?  No biggie, 5 rubies is nothing.  I'm sticking with 5 DAS/5 ARR.  I don't think the DAS is what's causing me to misdrop so much, but I'm kind of getting better at controlling it.

5 das and 5 arr isn't really that fast compared to 7,0 bb

the das is faster, its just that 5 AR is still only like 2 frames, which is pretty slow

Uh, 5 rate in TF is 60hz. 5/5 in TF is the same as 6/1 in BB. Yeah you have travel time for the piece, but that's still pretty darn fast.
