How To Block Tetris Friends Ads

Having flash banners or rotating image advertisements while you are trying to play Tetris can be distracting or boggle down system resources, so here are some instructions for stopping the ads:

Firefox:

Install Adblock Plus: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865/
Subscribe to fanboy's list: http://www.fanboy.co.nz/adblock/fanboy-adb...nt-expanded.txt
Remove Easylist subscription if you have it because its filters will prevent TF from loading.

Google Chrome:

I am using easylist subscription and TF loads fine. What exactly does it prevent from loading?

Oh, I think it blocks the lottery, lol. I switched to fanboy's.

it does for me, I have to disable it to get the lottery then re-enable if I want to play anything

adblock plus for FF allows you to disable it per page, so for the lottery just 'green light' the TF homepage.

(FYI the new Firefox 4 beta's don't work with TF)
