With HDOIII Grand Finals coming this weekend, it's time to open registration for HDOIV!  Players without atleast 5 matches played will have their matches removed along with any scoring from them for fairness.

This is for anyone to enter, regardless of skill level.  If you're a novice, come see what it's like to play with the top players.  So start practicing, and get ready to battle it out with the most confident and crafty players in the world.

Rule and DAS is player choice unless overpowered


Players who have not played a single match by July 24th will be dropped from the tournament.  The tournament will end no later than August 31st.  The deadline to have your matches counted for the playoffs is August 7th., First to 10 (win by 2) is the winner.  Play as many opponents as possible in order to receive more points.  There are no divisions between skill and anyone can play anyone else.

Scoring:  You will be awarded 5 points for a shutout win (10-0), 4 points for a win, and 1 point for a loss.  Players with 4 or less matches played by the time of playoffs will have their matches removed for fairness.  In the event of ties in the leaderboard, the player with the better rounds won/lost ratio will receive higher seeding, so don't forget to also include the score when reporting match results.  At the end of the Hard Drop Open IV, the top 16 players will advance to a short double-elimination Pro tournament based on their seedings and only ONE player will be crowned as Hard Drop's Open IV Champion.

Prize: Along with the title of Hard Drop Champion for first place, the top 3 finishers will also be rewarded Gold, Silver, and Bronze trophies by their names in the forums.
