Tetris Ultra Help

I'm seeing lots of tips for player vs. player tetris battles, but i haven't found any for Ultra. I'm pretty bad at Ultra (though for some reason it's my favorite), and my high score is 11,008 (on tetris friends). Seeing lots of replays, I can't imagine the speed some people can go.

Limit your line clears to either Tetrises or T-spins to keep the 1.5x back-to-back bonus for as long as possible.  T-spin doubles score more than tetrises, so you'll want to use them frequently.  This is why ST stackers dominate the ultra leaderboard: http://harddrop.com/wiki/ST_Stacking .  Avoid soft dropping except for T-spins, and because of how slow it is try to make your t-spins atleast a TSD.  At the very end if you don't have enough time for a TSD or Tetris, squeeze out whatever points you can with smaller line clears or just hard dropping pieces.
