An update from Tetris Friends

Yeah they seem to want everyone to conform to a certain rule set so choosing your RS doesn't seem very likely. Was last nights update just new accessories?

EDIT: Found it, I'm guessing they're going to find a way to put it in custom settings where you can change your keys.

Um, one of their "premium" items is 5000 tokens... and I don't plan on buying any rubies because I dont' need new SFX's. I'm concerned in the help tab under rubies that they will have "premium missions" WHAT!?!?!?!?! Thats not really going to inspire people to complete them unless theres a ruby reward.

I'm not really happy with the new store. I bought 300 Rubies (it's not that much money in Euros), but there's nothing really interesting to get. I'd like to get 1st. new missions, 2nd. an ad-free profile / game and maybe 3rd. additional gameplay. The new SFX and robot voices are annoying, I guess I'll get back to the old ones soon. And I really dislike the new "My Tetris Style" tab at my profile page. Who cares? I want to show the world my Game Stats, of course!

Edit: Anyway, a new free mission pack is announced!

It's an animation or sound you're going to see/hear if you're winning. I'm not sure if your "opponent" will see that (who cares, you don't know them).

I bought the "Tetris Express" & the "Lava Lamp"... lol. But I don't think I'm going to buy more of them, I want real stuff...

Edit: OK, now I saw that Tetris Express animation for the first time... I have to admit that it's very well done. It's a loop in your results window, let's say: It looks nice. Your opponents will see it as well.

not in those modes tho, because your opponents are replays. They'll see them in Live.

I spy with my little eye an O-Tetrimino in this picture...does that mean the O-piece will play an important part in that mission, whenever it comes out?
Also, I see a cupcake with 20:10 on it...surely this'll be a New Year's mission...and what's with the ":"?

I don't think that these things are visible in Tetris Live. Even your own accessoires aren't visible there...

I know that people in these game modes are replays, but you'll be a replay someday as well, and then the "real person" will see that.

"Good Game" looks like Tetris 1989, that's the only thing I can say.

We really need to get entertained more. lol.

Edit: OK, I've got a theory. Maybe we can buy new mission packs with Rubies soon and get lots of Tokens for finishing that pack. How could someone otherwise spend 4'000 or 5'000 tokens for the new items in the store? It's impossible to save that much tokens.

Woah I went to purchase rubies assuming it uses my tokens. And then it asked for my credit card. LAME. Now down to 40 tokens just buying the win-tone. What's the quickest way to earn tokens? Keep playing sprint?

I'm sure that is the mission they will release sometime in the New Year. I saw it on the development site. You have to finish a sprint game at exactly 20:10 (20 minutes and 10 secs). It is a little harder than it seems.

Well, the least I can say about that is that it'll be time-consuming...if line clear delay doesn't make you skip 20'10"XX when you clear your last line...
