A fantasy suggestion  that I thought of, not really urgent or anything:

be able to create a game where it displays that you are playing first to 10, first to 15, or first to 20, etc. and then it ends the game when someone makes it to that number. this eliminates any confusion of how many games are going to be played and about who the real winner is in a 1v1.

How about room names? So you can let people know its a 1210,15,20 etc.

I thought this wasn't possible:

So where can I get Blockbox?  Been seeing a lot of talk about it.  Nevermind, just noticed Clinch's Sig.  So new question:  Is there some way to change the controls?  Switching hands also switches my mind's perspective on which way pieces are flipping, it's like someone snuck-in and reversed the right/left flip on me.  :x

Yes you can certainly change the controls.  When you log in, click the blue start button in the top center next to the player list.  From there you will see 3 tabs - Invited, Game Options, Controls.  After clicking the controls tab you can then change the basic keys as well as stuff like DAS, shift gravity and a few other things by going into 'expert settings.'

Ah ok, so it's something I wouldn't be able to do when trying it out as a guest.  I'll have to make an account there then.

Edit: And boom, I'm aboard.

It's the holes are generated with a pure randomiser, and each line is independent, so probability dictates that one in ten lines will line up with the previous one.

I thought Blockbox still has a 100% chance for the garbage hole to change columns.

Exactly
That was the first time I ever saw 2 holes lined up (excluding the unrated vs games)

Allow me to add that the odds of three holes lined up are 1:100, and 4 lined up holes are 1:1000
This also happens in Tetris Worlds (it should be also noted that Worlds is the only game to feature non-retaliation garbage)

Does anyone else have the problem that the beeps get registered with less and less likelihood till the game goes totally silent after a while?  Honestly, the beeps are mainly annoying, so it's kind of nice when they disappear, but it would be handy to be warned when I'm on a 99 level in Expert/Marathon.  I've been playing on Mac OS 10.6 with Safari.

Edit: same thing happens to the sound with Firefox.  Another problem I'm having is I can't save replays with either browser.  Also, I was just playing Expert TA and got 500, but for some reason it didn't update my old record of 4XX in the high scores, which seems kind of strange.

I'm not sure what your problem with sound is, but in your Expert TA game, it bases your score not on the level, but your grade. So, your 4xx game might have a grade of like S1 and your 500 game might be 2, and it would record your 4xx game.

Actually no, TA Death only has 2 grades M and GM and looks like iphys didn't get to level 500 in time to get the M grade so he still doesn't have a grade.
And yes, that sound problem is pretty common I just turned off sounds.

Yeah, I was like a minute too slow for the M grade, so it just said "well done" and stopped at 500 with no grade.    Actually, the screenshot I took still shows the blocks in the well rather than any end game statistics, so maybe the game froze at the end for some reason.

I've also been noticing discrepancies with the times from what it says at the bottom of the well and what it posts to the leaderboard sometimes.  I just got a new best time of 15:16:51 on Marathon 1, but it posted 14:50:25 to the leaderboard.  When I added up all the times it was showing for the intervals, it really was 15:16.  From the looks of things, not a lot of people play these Marathon/Expert modes, so maybe there are still some bugs in them.

jujube

i think the time it shows on the leaderboard is the time when you reach your final grade, not when you finish or top out.
