What do you listen to while playing Tetris?

Most of the time I listen to whatever's on my TV in the background. When I'm playing tetris, I'm usually relaxing, and just kinda zonin'.

But if I need to do something serious I goto the most brutal song ever A thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton

Other than that I am mostly trance or electronic hardcore

I think I play best when I zone out... usually I repeat "lines, lines, lines, lines..."

I would get annoyed with myself after like 4 seconds

I listen to 80's music while "Tetrissing" (is that even a word?), such as The Police and Depeche Mode, to name a few.

Today I broke my 40L record on TF: 1:38.12  
While listening to Paul Hardcastle's "19"
My BB record on 40L SRS is 1:39.13 with the same BGM

I usually consider myself lucky if I make it under 2 minutes, as this is the time limit used on Tetris Worlds (have you tried clearing 75 lines under 2 minutes? Real hard for me, but feasible)

(2nd editorial) New TF 40L record w/o music: 1:32.88
Maybe I'm more efficient with no BGM

I got my 3rd ARS Secret Grade GM on my first attempt of the day while listening to the first track of the new M-Project CD, hahaha.

Also, playing Shirase and listening to The Speed Freak was pretty entertaining.

I'm not sure whether music distracts me from playing or not. It seems like sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't.

No new record. I got it on 99 with ~84 tetrominoes if I recall correctly.

I like to listen to Ronald Jenkees - Blowing fire
or pretty much anything from him ... hes pretty good ...
its all instrumental but sometimes its better without a singer
