I highly doubt I'd be able to make this anyway, but out of curiosity how is the head-to-head going to go? First to KO or most lines within a time limit? When we did Denver Tetris League way back they had a First to KO or most lines in 3 Minutes so that's why I ask? I may have to start practicing ha ha if there is a time limit there are so many more strategies, which is why I'm curious.
The head-to-head part is normal A-type vs mode, first to 3.
Re: Qualifying:
I've been told the rules are set in stone. I didn't have the opportunity to negotiate them. I'm interested in what you guys have to say, but please note that I won't be able to do anything about it this year.
For the sake of discussion, my proposal was going to be actual vs games. I don't see the point in playing a single player B-type mode to seed a multiplayer A-type tournament. I think it would be decent to simply rank participants with Elo and let them churn through the seats all day. This would let us run twice as many qualifying matches, and the qualifiers would be testing the same skill that they're going to be competing in. What do you guys think?
