Might as well upload this to YouTube and post this here. I could probably beat it with a few weeks of practice to derust, but grinding 40L makes my fingers hurt after a while so it may not be for quite a bit that I revisit 40L.

jkwon hasn't been here since a long time, so I updated the times. I hope I didn't mess anything up. I only changed the times of people who reported in this thread, not anybody else (e.g. I know that MicroBlizz improved his WR).

33.027 I'm actually shocked. Previous PB was 34.75.

MicroBlizz broke the 17 seconds barrier with a time of 16.95 s.

The corresponding replay on Jstris. Also an old, short documentary about MicroBlizz where he said he wanted to hold the 40 lines WR at least once.

It's interesting which game brought MicroBlizz below the 17 seconds mark. It's 102 pieces and 2.73 keys per piece which is not optimal for MicroBlizz. It's 0 finesse faults but MicroBlizz' top 10 sprint times are all 0 finesse right now. MicroBlizz had improved his record 1 month ago (17.254 s, replay) and this game could have been a sub 17 with a Perfect Clear ending, if MicroBlizz had held the S piece in the end. Also, MicroBlizz used to hold the first or second I piece. Meanwhile, he tries to stay holdless as long as possible.

The list of sub 20 players according to Yakine on Discord:

CODE
1. Microblizz 16.95
2. Keroco 18.03
3. Rideru0 18.93
4. Yakine 18.984
5. Vince_HD 19.593
6. Euhaha 19.778
7. CHERRYADE 19.822
8. Z2sam 19.931
9. A_A 19.975

(I changed the times for MicroBlizz and Rideru0, I suppose Rideru0 is eriri on Jstris)

Euhaha is a Korean and I think A_A got sub 20 on Tetris Online Poland which is not even instant ARR. On the long run, I expect Rideru0 and Vince_HD to be the strongest competitors of MicroBlizz. Vince_HD (aka Vince231) is just 14 years old and Rideru0 is the fastest guy on Tetris Friends with just 23.9 seconds (which is more than 1.5 s faster than the second best player). Rideru0 has an insanely low keys per piece statistics (despite making finesse faults from time to time, note that hold keystrokes are not counted). His best sprint times are about 2.56 kpp in average. He must use DAS preservation a lot (= keep pressing Left or Right down when wanting to move successive pieces in the same direction).

PS: Again, I only updated this 40 lines leaderboard with the times people posted in this thread. And I added MicroBlizz' 16.95 s time.
