Maybe read the
downstacking guide or the
movement finesse articles. The Wiki doesn't really include stacking tips (it's more about listing games and T-Spin techniques),
tetrisconcept.com is better in this regard (but it was already linked in the other thread).
A tip I didn't read so far: In modes with significant gravity (and lock delay) it's often better to stack a little hill in the middle, so that you can move pieces everywhere you want. But this is only true for modes like Marathon or Survival. Otherwise, it's often better to have a little hollow in the middle (in case you're not stacking for Tetrises) because it allows more opportunities for skimming.
