Yeah I've drawn up a whole graph then used a graphics calculator to generate my pieces before. Didn't work too well with t-spins when I'm not clearing the bottom line lol.

QUOTE(baseballboy4296 @ May 9 2010, 04:11 PM) *

when you put nullpomino and toj on your flash drive to play in school and at your friends' houses
when you dream tetris
when you sing the tetris theme song
when you play until 5:30 in the morning (happens many times)
when you make your friends get accounts
and the list goes on :]

Making a flash drive with TOJ and Null. is a good idea LOL

When you're addicted to tetris you have to...

A-Learn to control day dreams, dreams, thoughts, ect. of tetris
B-Learn to tune at people when you're getting board (sry i spelled "board wrong) of them and think/get better at Tetris

This passes time. I think I have "A" down and I think I have "B" down too!

Hope you enjoy

The best thing to do is have a girlfriend who likes tetris too. It makes life a lot easier!

When you're so bored in math class you create a game called "Paper Tetris" In which you draw a 10x20 (or more) grid and try to fill it up using the randomizer on the calculator as your bag! Your friend would then read the calculator & say a number from 1-7 which correspond with different Tetris pieces.

...Then you stop playing because it's too easy to fill up the paper completely!!! [True Story]

lol!

HD: NumPad0
SD: NumPad5
Hold: NumPadEnter
Left: NumPad4
Right: NumPad6
CCW Rotate: NumPad7
CW Rotate: NumPad8
(180 Rotate: NumPad9)

I didn't know people played with two hands.
Edit: fixed Right, NumPad6 not 5

How are right and soft drop both numpad 5?

Sorry, I meant Right is NumPad6.
Basically, the CW Rotate, Soft drop, Left and Right are positioned the same relative to each other as they are on the keyboard (with CW Rotate = Up arrow and Soft Drop = Down arrow).
My arrow keys on my keyboard were too close to the bottom so I mapped them to my NumPad the same way so that my wrist could rest on the base.
Then I added the CCW Rotate as 7 because I had been told it was a good idea to rotate both ways.
Then the HD as NumPad0 because it was a big flat key I could hit pretty hard with my thumb.
Then Hold went to NumPadEnter because I was out of fingers. Smile.png
Then I got NullPo and discovered the beauty of 180 rotations, mapped it to the last comfortable key for me at NumPad9 (Lined up all the rotates, too: CCW: 7, CW: 8, 180: 9)
Also on NullPo: NumPad+ = Pause, . = Frame Step

My layout is very spread out. A for hold, S for CCW, D for 180, C for hard drop, and then numpad 1 for left, 2 for soft drop, 3 for right, and 5 for CW. Esc is my pause key. You might want to post your controls on the controls thread.

You know you're addicted to Tetris when you tell the person above you to post their controls in the Controls thread and you were the person who hijacked this thread in the first place.

You know you're addicted to tetris when you walk into a building and ask, "How many tetrominos did it take to complete this building?"
