Yea this got pretty bad for me. The worse is when I was drunk and couldn't sleep because the blocks kept moving in my head and made me sick

I knew I wasn't the only one. The worst thing is, I have ADHD so I keep on playing random scenarios through my head during class and I never get anything done :<

LOL @enfuego,

Often-times when I pick something up, I envision myself as adding it to my "inventory".

Stocking up the refrigerator is always easier if Theme A is playing.

Good, because as entertaining as it is, I don't get anything accomplished! How long does it take to go away? O-o

i have dreams about tetris. the sad thing is, is that i lose a lot.

I once saw a TGM cabinet in a dream, but I didn't get to play sad.gif
The thing is, it showed the exact same splash screen as the real thing

Wouldn't that be a nightmare?

Also, I always get the piece I need, and the I block is always in my hold. cool.gif

playing for years and this still happens to me all the time.

Posted by: WhiteTigerShiro Oct 16 2009, 02:14 PM

One time when I was really tired and drifting in and out of sleep, my mind was wondering and thinking about games. Suddenly I was stuck in a precarious scenario where I wanted to T-spin a piece into place, but I couldn't because Francis was entwined by a Smoker. o.O

Shortly there-after I decided it was time to goto bed. :x

used to have this when i played tetrinet2... but not anymore wink.gif

Same here, tnet2 when i was a newb, went away after a while. It did slightly come back when i started learning double rotate and went away again. Makes u wonder how the brain rewires itself don't it? Ah, within a decade or so, we'll be able to electronically simulate the human brain. (ie. "Blue Brain Project")

Okay, now I'm officially addicted to Tetris, 'cuz I dreamt about TGM-style play with various polyominoes of various colors and shapes...Rainbow I-pieces to make a rainbow Tetris
But earlier in the dream, I saw Roger Dean's logo plastered on the outside walls of the local mall
Creepy! ph34r.gif

GDC (Game Developers Conference) happened 2 weeks ago. The 1 hour long Tetris Effect talk is one of only few talks you can watch for free.

https://www.gdcvault.com/play/1025723/Making-Tetris-Effect

Besides Tetsuya Mizuguchi and Mark MacDonald, It also features Art Director Takashi Ishihara giving insights in the Tetris Effect development process. At 9:40 you can see a nice preproduction video and at 49:20 you can see a prototype of a downstack mode that sadly didn't make it into the final game.

edit: sorry, video seems to be behind the paywall now.
