when you keep thinking about something to add to this thread

lol, I'm SOO addicted to tetris then.. =/

When you go outside for once in your life.. and pretend that objects in the everyday world (trees, mailboxes, sticks, etc..) are tetrominoes and begin to piece them together in your own virtual matrix that is your head.

When your facebook wall consists of nothing but -"Chris just sped to a new personal best time of 52.79 in Tetris Sprint
Chris is becoming quite the good tetris player at Tetris Friends!"
-"Chris has reached rank 18 in Sprint 4P!"
etc..
lol

You know you are addicted to Tetris when:

...you close your eyes and you see a disastrous tetris scenario

...you day dream about getting four row combinations in a row

...you conspire with others to overthrow the leader of the Tetris leaderboard even though it can only be one person who beats it...

...you loath the people who are ahead of you in the tetris ranking table.

...you strategise Tetris in your mind.. for next game.

...the idea of getting a square block when there's no room for it makes you sick.

...you alter the construction of your house to correspond to the layout of Tetris pieces.

...you become unnaturally good at packing your bag.

...you've owned all incarnations and versions of the game.

...you live in constant fear of your friends beating your top score.

...you have screwed up your game 30 seconds in, and still insist on trying to fix it as opposed to restart.

...you pack your books into your bag according to those conforming to induced fit, and give yourself points for the more books you pack in. Plus, somehow the bottom row of books seem to mysteriously disappear whenever you get a complete row...

...you cower in fear whenever you see items stacked to the ceiling.

After watching The Deer Hunter you rewind it to this scene just to hear the song again.

You buy multiple used copies of Tetris for Gameboy every time you see them, and can spare the dosh, since yours is so worn out that it resets after a few minutes whenever it's played.
(The other day it reset so horribly that the image data for the pieces wouldn't load until they'd locked into place. So, sort of a reverse version of invisible tetromino mode from later games.)

Every time you're out and see something with the word Tetris on it you contemplate picking it up, and usually do.

You are looking forward to your lunch break. Not to eat, but to play Tetris.

An acquaintance calls you to hang out and you tell them you 'aren't feeling well'. Which really means you'd rather sit at home and play Tetris all day.

You're working late and some girl doesn't want to pay for a few tokens to play some arcade games, so she offers to 'show her b**bs' and you ignore her so you can be left alone and get back to playing Tetris.
(I hope she was joking, and I hope that if she wasn't, that nobody has ever taken her up on that offer.)

If you see four boxes of the same size you feel compelled to stack them in the shape of an upside down T-block and then look around to see if there are enough others around to form the other pieces.

You do or have done almost everything mentioned in this thread.
