Registration for
Beta Tournament 4 on
Worldwide Combos is now open. The tournament starts on
March 25th, 00:00 UTC.
The tournament rules did not change since the last tournament, that is: 2 minutes for one round, no KO limit, handicap with holes.
This tournament will feature two divisions, so that you will play against players that have approximately your level. All participants will be taking part in a pool round, and play against three or four different players. After the pool round, players will be seeded in their division's single elimination bracket.
Note that, this time what used to be the "Div. 2" tournament is replaced by a "Speed Limit 2.6BPS" tournament: it means that for every sequence of 10 blocks, if you average speed is over 2.6 blocks per second, then you will get an unclearable handicap line until the end of the round. This is to make sure that no player with a too high speed comes and ruins the fun for other players.
You can only participate in one tournament. If you don't know where to go, you may try the Speed Limit feature, either in Warm-up or in Custom Games. If you are still hesitating, register for both and I will choose for you.
