What's This?
The Puyo Puyo Tetris Rank Tournament is a weekly tournament started by the Japanese tetris community.

Platforms
Currently the tournament is holded on the Nintendo server (3DS, Wii U).

Game Modes
Currently only the Swap mode. The VS mode may be included in the future.

Date and Time
Usually takes place on Fridays and Saturdays, 21:00~23:00 or 22:00~00:00 JST.
Use Ctrl+F to search the term "開催" (Holding) to find the newest timetable on the niconico community, like:

7/25(金)なし
7/26(土)21時 ※四段戦初開催
8/1(金)22時
8/2(土)21時
8/8(金)22時
8/9(土)なし
8/15(金)22時
8/16(土)21時
8/22(金)22時
8/23(土)21時

where 金=Friday, 土=Saturday, なし=none

Basic Rules (基本ルール)

1. A Player fights against another player with the same rank.
2. First to 3, win by 1.
3. A winner gets one point; a loser loses one point.
4. A player ranks up after getting 3 points; a player is deranked after losing 3 points.

How to participate?
Step 1. Get a 3DS or Wii U, and the game of Puyo Puyo Tetris.
Step 2. On the live stream, make a comment saying "sanka kibo@XXX" where XXX is your name.
Note that the application will be accepted only when there is still at least one hour before the tournament ends.
For example, if the tournament lasts 2.5 hours, then you need to apply for participation before 1.5 hours has elapsed.
Step 3. If you see the host put your name on the matching sheet on live stream, you have successfully joined the game.

Ah, too bad, this is the least accessible server for international players on account of Nintendo's region locked software. Sticking Out Tongue.png Well, if I ever get a Japanese 3DS or Wii U (or a method of bypassing region locking is released), then I'll try to participate. smile.gif
