I will be playing neither mostly likely. I've yet to find any of the newer tetris games interesting. The one on the Wii was quite interesting but ruined by the clumsiness of it and everything seeming so small!

I guess I'm just spoiled by Nullpomino.

Why didnt you put neither as an option in the poll so that we could se how many would play it compared to how many would not play it?

I won't play it because I do not plan getting any of those consoles. A Tetris game released on those consoles is not enough to change my mind.
Imo they should focus on creating a high quality Tetris game for the computer rather than other consoles.

EA's contract with TTC covered mobile platforms only.  And if they did develop a PC Tetris game, it would go on Origin, not Steam.  Ubisoft will likely only develop console-based Tetris games.  TTC and BPS have developed all recent PC games (Zone, and TF, TB, and Tetris Stars if you count them) themselves, excluding TOJ and Hangame of course.

The poll is more concerned with finding out which camp HD players will fall into rather than how many people will play it. To my knowledge, they haven't announced if it will feature cross-platform multiplayer/leaderboards. I left out the "neither" option because I thought it might encourage more meaningful data.

Yeah yeah, still have no reason to buy a Xbone or PS4 as of yet. Well, I'll just be over here with my Puyo Puyo Tetris, then.*

Really though, I wonder how this is going to turn out. I mean, in all likelihood the answer will probably be "just about the same as always," even though it's a fresh name stepping up to the plate, but it makes you think.
