Vs battle (Nullpomino)

I've been having some trouble getting the Vs battle mode on null to work.

I've set the proper controls for 2p, and turned the Ai on to no avail. Would anyone care to help me out?

do you have a proper 'A' key set up for the ai too? so that you can ready check the computer too?

Yup I did that, didn't work unfortunately.

Did you set the 'A' button in the 2P NAVIGATION controls (not just in the 2P controls, which is a different submenu in the options screen).
