Does anyone ever get this problem? After the advertisement, the game doesn't load. It happens... maybe 1 in every 8 logins for me. Most times I have to restart my computer 2-3 times before I can get in.

Today it worked for me (after resetting my computer 5 times) by refreshing the page about 11 times.

I usually just refresh the page, and it loads the second time.  I've never had that much trouble.

chrome, at least on mac, can't handle TF (way to laggy) so i still use safari!

i get a "failed to connect" error all the time, but it shows up in a blue box in the middle of the screen. i can connect just long enough to see who's online but none of the game rooms appear, and the error message pops up after 5 seconds or so.

Ravendarksky

I randomly can't connect too... so you aren't alone.

With me though NO browser works or restarting... I just seem to not be allowed to play that day!

i'm using firefox with the addblock plus addon. no video-adds or any adds for that matter and it didnt cost me rubies:P

I just found out that certain members have no lag at all (sonic and cubix). Maybe US users have an advantage over the rest cos of their servers being in the US??!! (not sure)

For me its not doable to play TF with a pro attitude, at most its a social playground...too bad

cheers

Location is irrelevant to performance. Assets are pre-loaded at the start, and the only information you transferred during the game in Arena would be attack information and the occasional update of the contents of each player's field. What little data that actually happens to be sent and received on-the-fly would have no bearing on the game's actual performance.
