Well, for unknown reason, i figured strange setup, which would use TST like twist of T mino, but in a lil bit orientation (so that would clear 2 lines, not 3) but since it doesn't clear any lines it is neither TSD nor TST.

But my question is, why does it fail? It is a typical TST move but rotated by 90 degrees, it uses the same twists and wallkicks... but instead of jumping into hole, it locks down...

let me show you this situation

or am i doing sth stupid...

edit:

this fumen tag failed, this is why id posted link... sorry for inconvenience
(when i use the fumen tag thingy, it shows me empty box only...)

that's what i thought, but i want to be sure about that ...

but actually most of twists work somehow downwards ...

well this question was stupid after all...

you need to do output data and link the view I think... like this.

PS: Testing with post, I'm going to assume the last rotation is a bit too high to twist into.

i'm gunna go try it :s i feel like it should work >O but then again most blocks don't get raised back up on SRS? iono. i tried a few spins yesterday that weren't meant for SRS (they didn't work) but they still feel like they should! boo :s

as you can see from the diagrams, that will not work. there is no way for the piece to jump from here to there.

thank you kind sir  that makes sense... kinda (if you assume that TST actually makes sense...)

have a nice day/evening/night/morning

most games that reward T-spins have a 3-corner rule. in the example you gave mcgif, only 2 corners are occupied. so even if the rotation system allowed that kind of twist, it wouldn't be rewarded in any game i can think of.

edit: oh, i see what you were trying to do. if the T could jump into that slot it would be a T-spin. the reason it doesn't is that SRS just doesn't kick horizontally the same way it does vertically. in general the vertical kicks are more extreme.
