Japanese would be useful sometime in your life. Greek & Latin -  Not really.

I mean forreal you could watch anime without subtitles.

are you really going to choose a course based on a poll "reflecting" opinions of few tetris nerds?

lol well no, but i would consider it. For example, I trust Paul676's opinion (if he wrote here :-( ) I'm surprised japanese is winning though...I'll prolly check out Latin tomorrow and see how that goes. :-)

D'oh I totally didn't see this until it was too late. I'd say take Greek because with that you can basically tackle most ancient philosophy (except Lucretius, Cicero etc). Latin is good for learning other Romance languages but given that's not your speciality, it would be better to do Greek. Japanese is irrelevant in terms of what you're studying, but meh what can I do to help...

Japanese is extremely useful. You can watch anime without subtitles.

japanese~desu! <3

Now beig serious i find a way more helpfull and usefull to speak japanese more than ancient greek or latin.

but as a philospher, i recomend you to study latin. I studied one semester of psycology (standing by) a while ago and to know greek would be 15x helpfull than knowing japanese or something else.

Latin is basically useless for philosophy, just to say...
