Have been into tetris for a long time - back to Microsoft BOWEP and Gameboy versions.

Have several console versions now - can't resist them really:

SNES : Tetris & Dr.Mario ,  Tetris Battle Gaiden
Saturn : Tetris Plus , Tetris S
Dreamcast : Sega Tetris, Next Tetris
N64 : New Tetris
GC and PS2 : Tetris Worlds
Wii : Tetris Party Deluxe (Wii)

Not very good though - usually get steamrollered when I venture online but still love the game.

General puzzle game : other favourites are Dr. Mario, Puyo Puyo and Wetrix.

I know....no GB Tetris! I have it but it isn't boxed sadly. Need to get DS Tetris too at some point. Would love to get TGM for 360 but I have a PAL machine and it's JPN only unfortunately (right? Please tell me I'm wrong!)

yes you need a Japanese Xbox 360 to play TGM ACE

not sure about Tetris Kiwamemichi for PS2 tho

Re Magical Tetris - I was put off by the licencing and assumed it wasn't very good but I only recently heard that it's a very good variation. It's on my to get list.

Yeah -such a shame TGM is JPN only.
