I think the general answer to this is going to be: "Why would you want to?"

Not that I know of, sorry. (And again, why would you want to?) Somebody else may know more.

I'm an admin over at Visionary Tales. Yeah, we're a role playing forum. Yes, this means I'm geekier than you are.

i guess you guys are more "quintessential" players?
the only way i figured is to play against a friend on facebook, because then it doesn't uses any of the "energy".

Bombs sort of came about so Tetris Battle could pretend to be a live multiplayer game by sort of mimicking holes in the attack lines while still keeping the attacks perfectly flat. Outside of replay-based "multiplayer" games, there isn't any real need to provide support for attacks with bombs in them. The way bombs allow you to clear away attack lines while still building a full 4 blocks above the attack kind of throws a wrench in the gears when it comes to strategy and balance, -- combos become especially overpowered -- so it's probably not going to be making its way into games that don't need it.

Bomb mode in tetris party is only a single player game. It is more a strategy game than a speed and attacking game

Ah, yeahl, that's Bombliss -- doesn't really have much to do with garbage lines containing bombs.
