So the first and only tetris site I ever played on was tetrisfriends where the default controls are horrible like space for hard drop and some random unreachable key for rotate left, so I decided to switch to blockbox default controls, you know, up for harddrop, space for hold, z and x for rotate left/right, but this has been more painful than putting clothespins on my eyelids.  Did anyone ever have to switch controls before? Any tips?  I'm open to different set-ups for controls too.  Thanks.

I switched controls a few times, with time you can get use to it and it will be worth it. Good luck, read through the other threads.
