Triforce say he concedes. to Blink. Although he knows how to triples and super doubles, he does not play competitively using the spins. Thus there is no way for any of the normal Tetris strategies would work against that level of play. GG JR

I was third in line for the NYC launch! Got Pilotwings and Super SF43D. I would say who got first but I guess everyone here knows the answer. LOL

Anyone going to the 3DS Launch at Best Buy in Union Square (NYC) on Saturday? I'm pretty sure of at least one person who's gonna be there. LOL

But seriously which launch title is everyone looking forward to? I think I might get Pilotwings. I never has a Pilotwings game yet.

I could talk to him about switching to Splash but I think Party is better. (We will have some Classic Contollers so it's not THAT bad.

I keep on typing the wrong date. Lack of sleep I guess.

The stream should start around noon but Tetris is not expected to have a stream since that is reserved for the SSF6 and MvC3.

When it comes to prizes, from my experience it has been winnner-take-all. But if we get more of a turnout for Tetris I think we can adjust for the prize where top 3 get cash. I'll ask about it over the weekend. And remember, there you can also enter the Puzzle Fighter, Puzzle, Bobble, Marvel, and SF tourneys, too to make the most of your time.

On Sunday March 27 there will be a side tournament for Tetris Party Deluxe (Wii) for the Battlefield Arcadia event (Mains being Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 and Super Street Fighter IV).

The fee for the venue is $10 and the Tetris tourney is $5. Remember, you can enter the event's other tournaments to get the more out of the venue fee such as Puzzle Fighter and Puzzle Bobble.

Winners Finals 3 out of 5 matches
Losers Finals 3 out of 5 matches
Grand Finals 3 out of 5 matches. Twice if loser wins one 3 out of 5 set.

That was some damn good action Blink and Hebo were amazing at at the grand final. I'm glad you two go to be up on Tetris.com.  

I would have liked an offline practice mode where you don't have to worry about level increases, line limits, etc. and work on your technique.

everything else is small and overpriced

Well McDouble (pretty much a double cheeseburger with one slice of cheese instead of two) is only a dollar but I see regular cheeseburger go for about $1.50! Frigging crazy!

I think I find the keyboard layout that fits me well.    My controls are:

Left Arrow: Left
Right Arrow: Right
Down Arrow: Soft Drop
Up Arrow: Hard Drop
Left Shift: Rotate Left
Z: Hold
X: Rotate Right
