shout out to ZeroT for being patient and being a good sportsman, showed up to the match 40 minutes late, very well could have been a forfeit no show on my part!

Can you get by playing with one rotate? Sure, but two rotates will always be better.

I played using one direction rotate for years and I ended up getting way too used to it. So when I tried to make the adjustment to using both directions, I found it quite difficult simply because using both rotates using the default scheme of a lot of platforms are in a completely different area of the keyboard as opposed to only using the up arrow key to rotate CW.

I came up with a solution that I wouldn't really recommend unless you've been playing long enough that using the up arrow key to rotate is hard encoded into your tetris playing. All I did was add CCW rotate to the key next to my CW rotate key and it felt completely natural. This only worked by readjusting my directional keys to the numpad so that '7' becomes CCW rotate and '8' becomes CW rotate.

i was at the beach a week ago and the weather felt like it was in the low 80s. people outside were all wearing swimsuits and playing volleyball and surfing.

within the 20 minute time limit, i got 127. after i saw all the answers, it just hit my head like DUH

i actually think this looks really cool. this is definitely tetris with a twist.

attack power is increased by quick drops and number of tspins and tetrises it seems

the defensive aspect of the game is removed since lines don't clear when they are completed, but assuming that pvp is an option in this game, it definitely provides a new way to play head to head.

i have my last final tomorrow, afterwards i'll be as free as a bird to play

you can practice no ghost and finesse in single player modes. no need to handicap yourself if you're playing in arena. the only thing you should really be practicing when you're playing in arena is your offense/defense and downstacking.

i'm really not sure about sub 40 because i don't really have a grasp on how many people play tetris competitively worldwide, but i would assume it's a much smaller number compared to other games. also, a game with 40 lines that most people play is probably TB, which is considerably more difficult to sub 40 on. I also have a feeling that people from asian countries make up for around 70-80% of the numbers.

I've seen subversive44 get like, 260-270 lines in tf live numerous times. i wouldn't be surprised if he got closer to 300 lines.

we are like the only active team that exists at the moment lol. with the amount of people that we currently have, we could probably split STARS into two groups by preferred platform-type and even have an in-house tournament.
