What's This?
こな , a Japanese tetris player who is mainly in the Tetris DS realm,
has set up a website to help tetris players learn the fundamentals of modern tetris.
Free, no need to registration, and fun.
Here is the link: http://taninkona.web.fc2.com/ttt/

What topics does the quiz cover?
Tetris
T-spin (TSM/TSD/TST)
The way to stack flat
The way to balance two stacks
Skimming
Downstack
Openings
SRS
Special rotations
Finesse
Donate
Prophecy
Forecast
so on and so forth ...

How to Use It?
The first step is to setup the keyboard configuration. The default control is the same as that in Tetris Friends, and if you'd like to change it, click the "キー設定" button. You will see the following:
左移動・・・・・・ move left, default to the left arrow key
右移動・・・・・・ move right, default to the right arrow key
ソフトドロップ・・ soft drop, default to the down arrow key
ハードドロップ・・ hard drop, default to the space key
右回転・・・・・・ rotate right, default to x
左回転・・・・・・ rotate left, default to z
The setting is saved in cookies.

After setting up the keyboard configuration, you may dig into the quiz.
The quiz consists of 29 sections. Starting with some easy sections, the level goes harder and harder.
Section 19 is the "midterm exam", Section 28 is the "final exam" and Section 29 is the "graduation test".

Help to Make an English Translation
I'd like to help but am also afraid that the content may not translate well due to my crappy Japanese.
Many machine-translated expressions are beyond my comprehension, so...
If anyone is good at Japanese and has some spare time, please consider spending some time on helping other tetris players learn the modern tetris mechanics. Also, thanks こな for putting effort into creating such a good quiz website. こな's Niconico community: http://com.nicovideo.jp/community/co265409

I might be interested in helping to translate it. It's a pretty good guide in my opinion.

For those who isn't paying attention to the shoutbox, this is kiri_n's walkthrough of the quiz: http://live.nicovideo.jp/watch/lv172230284...route=subscribe

ajanba also streamed a playthrough but it already ended.

Btw I added こな's Niconico community to the main article.
