Hey all, I just stumbled (not stumbleupon) on this website because I play tetris quite a bit, and was looking at videos. I'm not like sub 40on sprint or all that good at tetris really, I just like play it a lot. My sprint is at best 1:09 so far and my tetris friends rank is about 17 for various things. I'm just looking for ways to get better, strategies, tips, etc. Not to mention people to play with whom I can watch and learn from.

my sprint is near 35 seconds and I get smoked by 50+ second players if they are really good at vs.

Always nice to see a new face around here Smile.png. Paul's thread in the strategy forum is a great place to start for advice/help... however there is a LOT to take in!

Woah, that was quick. Awesome! I'd love to play with you sometime stef. Yeah, VS is a very different thing then sprint, since your goal is not to rid yourself of lines quickly but to send more to the other player. Although I wish I was faster. One thing I've always had a problem with is that I only rotate one direction, but I've been trying really hard to start to rotate both. Muscle memory just makes me do it sometimes, and I've been trying to unlearn it for a few months now. >_< That would probably speed my game up considerably too =/

also double rotation doesn't mean you'll become faster/better

mzhang (user on this site - bb/blockles/tf player) only single rotates - he's fast and he's a pretty good player. (not as good as me, HAHHA jk.)
