Hey Guys

I made this thread just to know how you guys think about my tf team tourney
i am thinking of making a tf team tourney 2 but i need some suggestions to see wat i might change

note: the only thing i will not change is that it will be held in tetris friends
thats why it is called tf team tourney

SUGGESTIONS:

1. Enforce a time to play your match
2. Teams of two
3. Communication Problem
4. Sign Ups only open for people who are serious on completing matches

I think it'd be a good idea to enforce a time limit on the game personally.

Otherwise, there's a high chance the matches will just go under the radar.

It would be good to make it clear that players that need to sign up need to be reliable and able to complete all matches. I think that weekly deadlines for a doubles tourney like this would probably be a good idea, would filter out the teams that are less serious about it.

- Have a signup cap at SIXTEEN teams.
- Enforce deadlines
- Teams of three would be a joke. We saw how getting six people online at the same time and in the same room worked out back in October/November with KeroKai's failed FFA tournament. And especially with international players, it's a nightmare.

no i dont think will change the cap to 16 it is more iteresting with more teams
i will enforce deadlines in tf team tourney
i guess teams of three would be extremely hard especially when there is a deadline to play your match so
i wont put it 3 teams

I'd say that the initial preliminary/1st rounds enforced deadline would be ideal. Afterwards: People can carry on the game as usual.

You can still enforce it now tbh. I'd suggest doing so as time tends to kill people's enthusiasm.

More teams means more interesting matches…at the end. How many close matches were there in the first two rounds of TTO? Other than Boingloing's 16-18 loss, no.

^ this.

Especially when my opponent's buddy list is full and he's not active on TF.
