So I was thinking how hard it is to talk about Tetris games and I came up with an idea of how we could better describe situations in a form that anyone can understand without a glossary, but is still clear and concise!

What you do is convert the piece and rotation into a letter from A-Y. For example, an O only has one rotation so we can represent it as the letter A. The I has four rotations, so it can occupy B, C, D, E (the first one is the spawn orientation). The pieces can be put in the order: OITZSLJ. Now you choose a word that starts with that letter, so it's easier to say and gives the mind something to latch onto. You can now represent that piece with a single word! Z-words can represent special functions such as firm drop, left, right, rotate CW and CCW, etc. based on their second letter.

Now you can describe specific piece movements in only a few words, and anyone can easily decipher what they mean. After a little practice, it should come very naturally!

I dono why but I immediately came up with Orange, Idiot, Tangy, Zesty, Spicy, Loose & Jelly.  

The O has 4 positions. Haven't you played tetris friends with items lol. It's very important to pick where the item lands. It could be the difference between getting a lightning bolt and winning out of pure skill or dying.
