If the problems continue i'll switch to a new webhost. The current one is free but the lag is ridiculous, I'd rather pay to have site up and working smoothly.

We're back, they moved us to a different server on their network.

Here's the deal:

Directspace has been very nice and still would like to sponsor us.

The site has been down the past day or two because they were moving us and it was taking very long to copy all the files over.

I'm working with directspace over the next few days to figure out the source of our lag problems, and address it. Meanwhile I'll be making backups so the site might lag every now and then for the next couple days.

We just had some more downtime over the past few hours. Did it affect everyone, or was it just Comcast and/or Google Public DNS?

It was everyone. I don't know why we were down, but I submitted a support ticket to directspace and they brought it back up.

Do you know how many hours we were down? I was busy and haven't been able to check. It would have been disastrous if there was a problem today, it's the start of the tournament! Anyways, this is the first downtime we've had in some time (except the DNS server problem a few weeks ago which was my fault).
