Blink, still not sure if we can submit records for TPD DS and TPD Wii in the same section or not? I think the scoring is the same, but I'm not sure if it's as easy to achieve identical times or not, and the other problem might be it could be easier to score higher on TPD Wii if the lineclears or gravity do give more time. I just played my first marathon game on TPD Wii and easily smashed my record on TPD DS, and I think the gravity might have been lower at level 15 to give me more time to think or something, but I'm not totally sure why it seemed easier -- might have just been a fluke and maybe they are the same though.

Edit: Just tried a little experiment to see how long it would take to top-out if I did nothing at level 15, and they seem fairly similar, but it looks like there might be small fractions of a second differences due to frame rates or something, because certain numbers seem more likely to come up on each system -- like a top-out after 12 pieces on the Wii might give 7.09/7.10/ 7.19 seconds vs 7.06/7.13/7.16/7.20 seconds on the DS.

Blink, where are you?

So I've come to the conclusion there's one major difference between the TPD games that will prevent times from ever being comparable, never mind the minor frame rate differences. The Wii version does not allow you to hard drop until you have released left/right, and if you accidentally hit up before releasing left/right, you actually have to release up and hit it again, whereas the DS version allows you to register a hard drop even with left/right still actively being pressed. Apart from making every hard drop a fraction of a second faster on the DS version, it also allows DAS manipulation, because you can keep your DAS charged from one piece to the next. Even when I manage to get in decent Sprints on the Wii version the times always seem to be around 4 s slower than the DS version.

Also, I think this should go without saying, but I don't think scores achieved with emulators or modified hardware should be allowed on the leaderboards. I think it would be too much of an unfair advantage to be able to play with a keyboard on games that you shouldn't be able to. I'm not sure how many people have submitted such scores, but at least one person submitted a proof with a rom name as part of the file name.

okay thanks iphys, i'll keep them seperated.

and yes, records achieved through emulation will not be allowed on the leaderboard. Can you tell me which ones were and I'll remove them. Thanks for helping out iphys.

It would be nice to add the other marathons for blockbox as well (marathon 1 2, 2.5 3 and 3.5) for both SRS and ARS.

For Nulpomino it would be nice to add the grade mania's (grade mania grade mania 2 and grade mania 2) They should be played with their beloning rule, so grade mania with rule classic 1, grade mania 2with classic rule 2 and grade mania 3 with classic rule 3

Finally u could also add speed mania speed mania 2 and garbage mania, also they should be played with their according rule, relatively classic 2, classic 3 and classic2

I would apreciate if specially for the nulpomino modes jus mentioned a print screen will be made at the begin and end of the game to see if the right rule has been used.

added SNES A-type, Nullpo Combo race 100.

Removed all cultris combo records from the All combo list, because its combos behave differently from other games.

I'll work on seperating SRS/ARS in the future goofer, and adding those modes.
