Can someone recommend to me a good keyboard for playing tetris up to $30? I had an old keyboard that i have been using, but i don't feel comfortable playing on it. It certainly isn't optimal. So any good suggestions for cheap and decent keyboards that would be good for playing tetris?

It seems like the numpad keys and the arrow keys are not flat. Wouldn't that be a problem? I am using all 4 arrow keys when i play and i am worried that this could be a problem when playing. Are you using this keyboard caffeine?

Nope, I use a mechanical keyboard. There doesn't seem to be many good mechanical keyboards at that price range, so that looked like the next best thing. Good luck on your search.

I looked at these. They are around 70-80 bucks. Are they really that good and is there really a significant difference playing on mechanical versus a regular rubber one? What`s your take on that?

I really like the feel of these "gamer grade" mechanical keyboards out nowadays. However, I don't think they allow me to play any faster than one that comes included with a PC.

I've played Tetris on multiple keyboards and keyboard types.

I don't think there is any difference unless you want an easier time tapping (really only applies to TF).

Also, I personally believe you shouldn't buy a keyboard just for Tetris.

Is there any way to change the speed of moving pieces left and right and rotating them on Tetris Online Poland? I find that moving pieces left and right turns out to be very annoying especially, when i don't have to put a piece on the sides. I have to move it square by square on the sides in order to place it where i want. This has been a common feature in other tetris games, but i don't see this in the settings on TOP? Am i missing something?

Start TOPLauncher.exe in the main folder (TetrisOnlinePoland). There you can register an account if not done yet. BTW with DASPatch you can choose between more autorepeat settings (e.g. autorepeat delay = 95 ms, autorepeat speed = 15 ms) and with KillStars you can get rid of most graphical gimmick (both extracted into your main folder).

how to use:
load the daspatch archive from the hyperlink in the quote
unpack daspatch into your TOP folder
make sure it collides with the "DasPatch" folder in the TOP folder
then open the launcher, go to the options and pick your repeat delay/speed
(15 ms repeat speed seems to be the minimum, so no instant DAS in this game.)

inb4 you might check out this build of TOP (made by Blitz)
however, it has a different method of making the DAS values, described in its topic

The link doesn't work.

open TOP launcher in the TOW folder

IPB Image

Click Settings and choose original presets.

IPB Image

Press start.

Click shop.

IPB Image

Click Tuning settings

IPB Image

Choose any level from 1 to 5.

IPB Image

Go to Time attack and try it out.

IPB Image

If the setting doesn't work, go back to shop and change the DAS/Sensitivity. If the whole preset doesn't feel right. Try again from TOP presets.

IPB Image

The patch saves so you don't have to keep patching it once you find the right preset and das/sensitivity. If your settings restart each time you start your TOW, run TOPLauncher as adminstrator by right clicking it.

A quick question: Theoretically speaking, does 5-4 stacking require less tricky finesse than 6-3 stakcing? Not considering other factors such as how hard it will be to stack without skimming.

Nope. 6-3 is less tricky. With 5-4 you'll find yourself needing to use the "DAS to right > rotate > tap left" pattern more often whereas you practically never use that for 6-3 unless you're skimming. 5-4 on eliminates the double tap right patterns and the tap right one + rotate patterns
