I thought it might be interesting to try a little experiment. I'm not so sure how many people will be needed so just pm me or post here if you are interested. (Needs a little work on Hypothesis)

Hypothesis: If the environment around someone is changed while playing Tetris then, (is it than?) their time will be greatly effected (affected?)

Independent Variables: The Place the game is on the computer, gravity, and size of the Tetris game

Dependent Variable: 40 lines mode/sprint
Drew- Sprint-45.11; 2.2616 PPS

Zatygxc

Size and placement of a game on a screen will effect gameplay.

Is this the idea that you want to  test?

I'd be willing to help you test. But I very sure environment does affect gaeplay. It's been proven for learning and testing environments afterall xD. I play poorly without usic.

But the experiment is if it will greatly effect gameplay and im not so sure what the average number is

Hypothesis: If the environment around someone
is changed while playing Tetris then, their time will be greatly affected.

1. How is it changed? You need to be concise here.
At the moment it seems like you are changing the
environment during one game of 40L sprint Tetris.

2. "Their time will be greatly affected."
In what way? Will the time increase or decrease?

A hypothesis is a prediction. You will need to predict something before you measure it.

Independent/ dependent variables:
Dependent: 40L/sprint
This should actually be the sprint time rather than the game mode.
Perhaps you meant that but I'm correcting you just in-case.

One last thing you need is the controlled variables.
It's not a bad thing to take note of them. ^^

Your experiment should test to see if it does affect game play at all first then discuss whether it has affected the game play significantly or not in the discussion and conclusion sections.

For greatly just check if its statistically and practically different, ie check the p values or use s confidence interval

QuoteLike many setups here, it is useful if your opponent doesn't move and you get 4 Ts in a row.

Does the color of the balls in the ballpit at the McPlayPlace have any bearing on the enjoyment of the date?
