who knows, maybe thats the only recorded bests so far, people could get higher

The article's headline is "how [name] became the second best Tetris player in the world". Seriously? He is far away from being the second best player, even in GameBoy Tetris. It's just that the Twin Galaxies lists are crap. I estimate that around 1,000 players managed to get a max-out score. At least, it's a bigger achievement than this bullshit linked by the Wikipedia's Tetris article: http://www.boston.com/news/globe/magazine/articles/2007/08/19/bizarro_world/
