Entertainment Weekly compiled a list of what their editors believed to be the top 50 new videogame classics. Tetris was chosen for the top honor:
"1. TETRIS
PC (1985)
A blockbuster in every sense of the word. Developed by a Russian computer scientist (who saw very little of his creation's huge profits), the iconic puzzle game has been played on nearly every platform known to man.
