the thought of tetris for the wii disgusts me. i think a handheld like tetris ds would suit this better, so i will get the one for the ds. as for the gameplay, i would have to look into this more. it seems like you can't d much more with just the game itself, so i will be expecting many variations.

Line clears seem a slower on the Wii version of Tetris Party. Game just feels a bit sluggish compared to Tetris DS or any other game I've played.

Until I see some screens, I'm undecided. The Nintendo theme in Tetris DS is what made it unique. If these variations are going to have the same look as Tetris Party, you can count me out.

Looking forward to some more official information about the game itself; I'm extremely curious about the content of the game.
I hope it will get good online multiplayer support for some competitive gameplay.
If it gets some serious singleplayer, it would be a bonus; could be much fun or failing hard.
If things are implemented correctly, this could be a replacement for Tetris DS.
