Tetris Online Japan Inc. and Enterbrain Inc. come together to bring you a new Tetris game titled "Amagami Tetris". Amagami is the name of a popular Japanese dating simulation game whose characters can be found in this collaboration.

Some details about the game:

- This game has singleplayer VS campaign only, and the campaigns are fairly short with low level AI. There is no online multiplayer mode. The entire game can be finished in a few hours.

- Each version costs 1575 Yen(~18 USD) to purchase. Purchases can be made using WebMoney.

OK, after reading about twists on the wiki, I realized there's no such thing as a I-Spin quadruple =P

If all twists send [2 x lines cleared], an I-Spin quadruple would send 8 lines (9 if back-to-back)? Hopefully that's not the case.

It is regrettable only that O-Spin is not mounted.

Unfortunately this game doesn't have mp at all, not even on one machine. It doesn't even let you change controls. The gameplay is worse than playing TOJ online because it's somehow flash based. And worst, you can't just play the Tetris parts seperately, you must go through the story part everytime in order to play Tetris. Awful re-play value. The only unique thing ejoyable in this game is the bonus for all Spins, which I personally like very much. Too bad the AI is too weak and incapable of doing these twists. Plus, if there would be a vs human mode with these rules, you need to be able to adjust the amount of garbage sent. Either with simple multipliers or with different characters -each with it's own strengths and weaknesses. A good concept, ended in an epic failure if you ask me.

Well I always thought if you would have a t-spin you should have other spins as well. + Cute girls in it I say I would like to try it haha.

yeah i'm not really into the rewarding of all twists, gives players too many weapons and reduces the strength of tetrises. also, i'd imagine it would be extremely confusing for spectators to watch a match with all these twists.

The twists are way too unintuitive in SRS, and the crazy kick ones shouldn't be rewarded. It also takes the gameplay too far away from Tetrises. There's no incentive to Tetris if you can just do crazy spins with all the pieces and send a crapload of lines. I think Cardcaptor Sakura Tetris had a more interesting game by combining Tetris and cutesy anime.

Looks pretty cool. There is no online mp, but i guess you can play 2 players on same machine, right? It's kinda depressing that Japanese players get all best tetris games (think TGM, TOJ), while rest of the world gets nothing.

dont really care about the other twists being rewarded. they're too gimicky... T-spin is enough for me. and tetris improves in japan all the time because players everywhere else are all casual. at least that's what your tetris company thinks. it's normal for them to create games suitable for the masses.

Eh, I'm not a fan of rewarding all twists. I think there are waaaayyyy too many twists and if we reward them all, then players might be able to add a ridiculous amount of lines. Unless maybe the number of garbage lines sent is changed.
